He works at the VA hospital & has a degree in Civil Engineering. Their 2nd oldest son, Dustin, is a Pharmacist for Walgreens. Their 3rd oldest son, Andy, is a Air Force Veteran and works for NuStar Energy in Wichita Falls, TX. Their daughter, Donna, & youngest is a Navy Veteran. She graduated from West Texas University and works at the VA hospital. Doug & Sandi have 8 grandchildren, Audrey, Noah, Marilyn, Declan, Wyatt, Morgan, Clay and Case.

I have lived in the Panhandle the last 40 years and Amarillo has been my home for the past 22 years.
When I graduated from college I heard a phrase "if it is worth doing it is worth doing RIGHT"
This is something I have strived to live by, through this journey called life. From my 14 years of coaching high school Basketball, Track and Cross Country, to being a stay at home mom raising 3 amazing kids, to the last 14 years of teaching Physical Education and serving the needs of my students.
In my spare time I love to ride my mountain bike at Palo Duro Canyon or take a trip to the mountains.
